"Harvard and MIT libraries explore far-reaching alliance"

An alliance that reportedly includes shared resources for both traditional off-site book storage and digital preservation.

High priority areas for collaborative growth include digital archives of faculty papers and web-based publications.

Presumably including the expansion of the open-access DASH (Digital Access to Scholarship at Harvard) program. See, for example, the DASH collection of available papers by the early modern historian Ann Blair and the Renaissance historian James Hankins. Not a complete list by any means, but a respectable sampling of each scholar’s interests.
