World Map (1602) by Jesuit in China on Display at Library of Congress

Incredibly detailed and ambitious. Few maps of this scale and grandeur were ever made in the ancient, medieval, and early modern worlds. This is also the first world map to include the Americas. On display at the Library of Congress until April 10. See NYT Article.
